Palestra VocAle (Vocal Gym) originates from Alessandra Turri's idea to offer a collective voice training on a weekly basis. Just as it happens in the gym, where you learn to understand, tone, and train the muscles of the body, Palestra VocAle is presented as a guided vocal workout that covers all the typical thematic areas of a singer's training journey, such as breath control, ear training, harmonizations, interpretation, resonance chamber management, register transitions, and much more.
Palestra VocAle can complement the attendance of a singing course, aiming at greater awareness of one's instrument, body and its use. Alternatively, there are classes dedicated to those who do not study singing as their main instrument. The course's objectives include maintaining and strengthening the muscles involved in singing, improving awareness of one's voice and enhancing musical skills. Simultaneously, the course covers the main aspects of vocal management in various situations (close concerts, rehearsal rooms, etc.), along with different techniques of microphone singing and stage management.
Here are the different modules that make up the course:
Module 1: Breathing
Module 2: Vocal Warm-up
Module 3: Ear Training
Module 4: Sung Solfeggio
Module 5: Timing
Module 6: Harmonizations
Module 7: Stage Behavior
Module 8: Microphone Singing and Voice Management in Rehearsal Rooms
Module 9: Resonance Chamber Management and Register Transitions
Module 10: Interpretation and Stage Management
