Continuing our week dedicated to ABBA and their eponymous album that, in 1975, stylishly relaunched the Swedish band to the top of charts, making them the moment's sensation on the global pop scene.

In addition to the famous singles "SOS" and "Mamma Mia", the album has a decidedly more rock'n'roll and energetic feel, particularly expressed in "Hey, Hey Helen" and "Rock Me". A unique choice for a pop album is the inclusion of an entirely instrumental track that we suggest you listen to.

The subsequent release, "Arrival", in 1976, followed by a tour the next year documented in the film ABBA: The Movie, solidify the Swedish group both commercially and musically.
