Greater rhythmic control, for all levels

Rhythmic in-depth course for GUITARISTS, BASSISTS, KEYBOARDISTS, and SINGERS.

With the Groove Matrix Method we guide musicians to transform rhythm from an abstract concept into a concrete and visual experience: they learn to see where each note lives in time and to feel its flow in their body.
This way, they move from the frustration of a groove that “doesn't flow” to the natural mastery of time — playing with confidence, fluidity, and a new expressive freedom.

The Groove Matrix Method is a progressive rhythmic training system created by Alex Bonacci that connects each group of notes or accents to its function in the flow of time. It teaches the musician to recognize and reproduce regular and irregular patterns with consistency, fluidity, and expressive intention.
It is different because it transforms the understanding of time into a visual and mental map that shows where each note lives within the groove.

Thanks to a schematic and interactive approach, the musician learns to “see” rhythm as an orderly and logical landscape, no longer as a chaos of subdivisions, combining the precision of a drummer with the global vision of a composer.
The course is highly recommended for instrumentalists in general and singers, but it can also be useful for drummers.

During the lessons, the achievement of objectives will also be tested with practical exercises in listening, performance, and transcription.

Why learn the theory of music?
Because knowledge of the theory allows the growth of expressive awareness, which involves a better improvisational ability, a greater compositional maturity, a greater mastery of technical aspects, which inevitably involve writing and thus creating better songs!

The course will foresee practical tests for the student to be performed at home between one lesson and another to increase learning and facilitate its monitoring

by the teacher. Music production, together with Music theory, is one of the subjects for which the certified international exam can be taken.

Introduction to modern issues of the music industry with particular attention to the digital revolution that has occurred in the last two decades in the music market: regulatory aspects related to music activity, copyright, editorial issues and related rights, design and management of promotional plans, etc.
